Hosted by fellowship of Christian Churches & Churches of Christ of Prince Edward Island
JULY 31st – AUGUST 2nd
IT’S COMING SOON!
It has been six years since the churches on Prince
Edward Island last played host to the Maritime
Christian Fellowship.
SPEAKERS
We are pleased to have two great speakers coming to be with us and
share their concern for small churches, in their work with The
Energizing Smaller Churches Network (ESCN).
Mark A. Taylor, Publisher and Editor of The Christian Standard will
address us Friday night. Ben Merold will speak Saturday morning
and evening, and on Sunday morning. Saturday afternoon is a time
to talk with them during a Question and Answer session.
LOCATION & FACILITIES
We are glad to have improved resource facilities to host this year’s gathering.
Canoe Cove Christian Camp, Prince Edward Island is located at 161 Park Road, Canoe Cove, PE (Just off Route 19-A, the 'Blue Heron Drive').
Numerous changes have taken place at Canoe Cove since the last Fellowship in 2003:
A new Lodge was built last year that provides
- a large dining hall
- program areas
- ample modern washrooms
- large bunk rooms able to accommodate large groups of people (take own bedding)
In addition, the changes include
- more accommodations in older cabins (bring air mattresses & bedding)
- areas for parking and camping (non-serviced sites for tenting and trailers)
- controlled parking, traffic and security
PETS
Pets must be on a leash at all time, and are not allowed in buildings.
(see Camp Policy)
FOOD
Meals and snacks will be simple and nutritious, prepared on site in the new Lodge kitchen.
PROGRAM
Main sessions will see involvement of a variety of worship teams and leaders.
Separate programs for teens and children are planned.
Different workshops will be repeated on Saturday to allow several choices.
We look forward to a great event, as God’s people come together,
to challenge one another to growth and to fellowship as we begin
Releasing the Power of the Smaller Church.
Our goal is that the churches in His kingdom will Experience the Energy.
